Lighthouse 16 is a point-and-click atmospheric puzzle game made using Phaser 3. In Tarot, the Tower card represents change, upheaval, and chaos. In this game, the player takes on the Lighthouse as a manifestation of their mounting anxiety surrounding a significant change in their life. Players must navigate the different puzzles to ascend the tower and face it head-on.
This game was conceptualized and created in 30 days as a part of UC Santa Cruz's ARTG/CMPM 120 class.

Until i reached the puzzle with the chakra stones’ weight it was fairly good: not too easy, but not too hard either. However, i had a hard time understanding what the pendulum was telling me and spent a lot of time there.
I thought that i could not finish it when i saw that i had to remember the numbers from the first location and the piece of eight thingy. I believe this is a misunderstanding on my part because what i thought as the “inventory” were the boxes at the bottom of the screen, so i did not know where the notes went—for me, the chest was where the tarot cards appeared, and nothing more—and did not see the other clues there until much, much later.
Performing the last ritual wrong was a bit of a shock, because i did not expect to die. Also, if i realize that i lighted the candles before turning them green, there is no way to go back, so i had to die again and wait for the somewhat long cut-scene.
But other than that, i enjoyed it. It has a good atmosphere, and the art is very well done.
The most negative point for me is the mouse control, as it seems not as polished as the rest of the game.
For instance, the chest at the beginning gave me the fishing reel twice; or i could use the telescope once, having to move to the next screen and back to use it again.
Also, since the objects are used automatically sometimes i just had to look at something and the game would solve the puzzle for me, such as in the cut of the painting where the minute hand is—i already had the knife, just clicked to see what it would say, and all of a sudden i had the minute hand in my “inventory”.
Ok, I 've enought. The scale puzzle is incomprehensible ... I've try every possibility (Stones = I OR V OR VI, Stones = 1 2 3 4 5 6 7).
I almost let it go with the 6x6 dumb stone puzzle.
The graphics is not so good, music is not good or bad. WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE CARD ??? It's annoyable and I don"t understand if it help or not..
There is some bug, and sometimes you succeed on a puzzle without understand how ...
I don't particularly recommend this game (unless you find a walkthrought, yes it's fun when you need this when you play a game ...). It as an atmosphere, but it's the only positive point I've find playing it...
Good job otherwise, it's a lot of work.
Hi Newg,
Thanks for playing our game! We do have a playthrough linked here in case you get stuck on any puzzles. For the Fortune room, the clue to the Scales puzzle can be found with the Chakra Diagram (each color corresponds to the same colored stone and the weight of the stone is the number on the diagram) while the pendulum on the Zodiac chart gives you a clue on how much weight should be on each side of the scale.

Thanks, but I still don"t get it ... I try for 15 min, there is something wrong... It's not fun anymore...
Hi Newg,
Can I ask you where are you getting stuck? Are you pressing the "Weigh" button after putting all of the stones on the scales? What browser are you playing the game in? We are not running into any issues on our end and we would love to hear more about the bugs you are encountering!
